MMA Girls in Nantes
Of course, I have to mention the MMA girls in Nantes with the great coach Tevi (and I'm not saying that because she's my coach, no no). This is the women's section of the renowned Parabellum. It's a club where the women's section is particularly developed, new girls sign up every day and there are girls of all levels and all ages! This is clearly THE club to start MMA when you are a woman. Trial lesson for 10€!
Marseille Fight Club
For southerners, I recommend the Marseille Fight Club and its atX women's section which has existed since 2020. This section has grown enormously since its creation, and all levels are present: from beginners to competitors. For 2 years, a training camp has been organized in the summer in this club which has been a great success! Atsouhil is the coach of this women's section and the trial class is free so don't hesitate!
Full Force Academy
Finally, for Parisians, I recommend Full Force where professional fighter Marie Loiseau gives women's MMA classes! It's a very recent club so you can benefit from new infrastructure in the 13th arrondissement of Paris. The trial lesson is 20€!
Of course, nothing obliges you to start in a women's section, but these sections often offer a caring and very welcoming environment where there is much less competition. It is much easier to find your place there than in mixed classes. On the other hand, if you feel like training directly with men, don't deprive yourself of it!
